For more than 50 years, Northway Golf Center has been helping golfers of every level enjoy the game, improve their skills, and get the most from their equipment. What started as a small family-run shop has grown into the Capital Region’s premier destination for retail, lessons, fittings, and all-season play.
Today, our facility combines one of the area’s best-stocked pro shops with professional services, year-round experiences, and a growing community of golfers who call Northway their home course.
Our Story
Since opening our doors in 1974, we’ve focused on one simple mission: make golf accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for every player.
From the beginning, Northway earned a reputation for personal service and unmatched product knowledge. Over the decades, we’ve expanded to include:
A state-of-the-art retail store featuring leading brands in clubs, balls, apparel, footwear, electronics, and accessories.
A full custom fitting program, with PGA-certified fitters and direct OEM build options.
Professional lessons for juniors, beginners, and seasoned players looking to sharpen their game.
Club repair and regripping services to keep your equipment performing like new.
Indoor simulators and a Toptracer driving range so the game never stops—even in the off-season.
And we’re not done. In 2025, we’ll be opening a brand-new restaurant and unveiling our putting course, creating even more ways for golfers, families, and friends to connect.

This is a cool spot with indoor simulators and outdoor driving range. We stopped to drop off a club to be fixed. It was fixed within days of dropping it off. They have a very helpful staff as we also have purchased clubs here. I wish it was closer.

Overall I Love this place not many places have practice greens and practice bunkers to use. Take this place as is it can use some updates and a refresh on golf balls but I have always had a good time here even if I only get to chip around also wish the driving range was open...
