Mizuno JPX925 Forged Irons

The JPX925 Forged is Mizuno's premier "player’s distance" iron, bridging the gap between the explosive speed of the Hot Metal series and the precision of the Mizuno Pro line. This 2025/2026 iteration introduces a significant engineering shift: a multi-material, two-piece construction for the long irons (4–7) featuring a Chromoly 4120 face and neck welded to a 431 stainless steel back. This allows for a thinner, more flexible face that increases ball speeds by up to 30% compared to previous generations. The scoring irons (8–GW) remain one-piece Grain Flow Forged from 1025E mild carbon steel to ensure the signature "buttery" feel and control required for the short game.
