Fairway Woods

Fairway woods are underused and underappreciated by most recreational golfers. A well-fitted 3-wood off a tight tee box is a better play than a driver on a lot of holes. Off a good lie in the fairway, a 5-wood can reach greens that hybrids and long irons can't hold. The issue is most golfers never find out what their fairway woods are actually capable of, because the loft, shaft, or face depth is wrong for how they swing.
